Joshinae has a unique blend of experience in both litigation and corporate matters.
She represents clients in various court matters including contractual disputes and shareholders litigation, as well as estate and trusts litigation. She has appeared at all levels of the Malaysian Courts, from the subordinate courts, High Court and up to the appellate courts. She is also an Advocacy trainer with the Bar Council.
In addition to handling the litigation portfolio, she advises on corporate and commercial transactions, and has experience in mergers, sale and acquisition of businesses, and associated due diligence. She regularly represents clients in drafting of commercial contracts where her background in litigation allows a sharper perspective to protecting their interests.
Aside from representing clients in the court arena, she also advises them on intellectual property matters including protecting their trade marks, designs, and on licensing and franchising arrangements.
Joshinae’s previous experience as a management consultant with one of the world’s premier strategy consulting companies, allows her to understand the practicalities and operations of organizations well, and to align with her clients’ commercial needs and expectations. She enjoys getting to know the workings of her clients’ businesses in order to provide them with the most commercially strategic advice.
